The Comb of the Wind

Located at the end of the Ondarreta beach, in San Sebastián (in the Basque Country of Spain), the Peine del Viento (The Comb of the Wind) is a collection of three sculptures by Eduardo Chillida arranged as an architectural work by the Basque architect Luis Pena Ganchegui. It is made up of three of Chillida’s monumental steel sculptures, weighing 10 tons each, embedded in natural rocks rising from the Cantabrian Sea.

If you didn't already know, bird feeders come in various shapes, size and configurations and are used to supply seeds or bird food to wild birds. They are placed outdoors, either on their own, on other structures or in trees or tree branches.

Autumn Leaves

In this new puzzle we feature some dry and colorful leaves on the ground. Autumn is here and the leaves have started turning various shades of yellow, orange, red, purple, and brown. If you didn't know, this phenomenon is commonly called fall colors, autumn colors or fall foliage and it turns the leaves of deciduous trees and shrubs from green to the bright colors mentioned above. After a period of time the colored leaves fall to the ground and start drying up.

Rag rugs were commonly made in households up to the middle of the 20th century by using odd scraps of fabric on a background of old sacking.

If you didn't know, a djembe or jembe is a rope-tuned skin-covered goblet drum played with bare hands, originally from West Africa. The djembe has a body carved of hardwood and a drumhead made of untreated rawhide, most commonly made from goatskin. It's goblet shape suggests that it originally may have been created from a mortar (mortar and pestle are implements used since ancient times to prepare ingredients or substances by crushing and grinding them into a fine paste or powder).
