The temple was founded in the second half of the 14th century. The monastery got its present name after construction of the Chedi Chai Mongkhon in the late 16th century. The seated Buddha statue featured in this puzzle is just one of hundreds of Buddha images draped in yellow cloth seated on pedestals surrounding various monastery structures.
