Rag rugs were commonly made in households up to the middle of the 20th century by using odd scraps of fabric on a background of old sacking.

Also known as myrobalan plum, the cherry plum is a species of plum native to Southeast Europe and Western Asia. The cherry plum is a popular ornamental tree for garden and landscaping use, grown for its very early flowering. It' fruit is an edible yellow or red drupe, 2 to 3 cm in diameter. Some cherry plum varieties have sweet fruits that can be eaten fresh, while others are sour and are used for making jam or as ingredients for other dishes.

There are two basic types of feather: vaned feathers which cover the exterior of the body, and down feathers which are underneath the vaned feathers. A bird's feathers undergo wear and tear and are replaced periodically during the bird's life through molting.

Plush toys, also called stuffed toys, plushies, stuffed animals, stuffies or cuddly toys, are made in many different forms, but most resemble animals, creatures from stories, cartoon or movie characters, or objects. Plushies come in an array of different sizes, colors and shapes. The first stuffed toy was a felt elephant originally sold as a pincushion, created by the German Steiff company in 1880.
