About: Glenfinnan is a hamlet in Lochaber area of the Highlands of Scotland. In 1745 the Jacobite rising began here on the shores of Loch Shiel. Seventy years later, the 18 m (60 ft) Glenfinnan Monument, at the head of the loch, was erected to commemorate the historic event. The tower was designed by the Scottish architect James Gillespie Graham. In this fun new puzzle we feature the monument and the breath taking landscape it's placed in. Bryce Canyon National Park is an national park located in southwestern Utah, USA. Despite its name, Bryce Canyon is not a canyon, but a collection of giant natural amphitheaters along the eastern side of the Paunsaugunt Plateau. It is distinctive due to geological structures called hoodoos ( also called a tent rock, fairy chimney or earth pyramid - thin spires of rock that protrude from the bottom of an arid drainage basin), formed by frost weathering and stream erosion of the river and lake bed sedimentary rocks. Hoodoos range in size from the height of an average human to heights exceeding a 10-story building.

Yamnuska translates to "wall of stone" Standing at approximately 2,240 meters above sea level, Mount John Laurie is the first mountain on the north side of the Bow River valley. The mountain was renamed after John Lee Laurie, 1899-1959, the founder of the Indian Association of Alberta - an organization that promoted the causes of Alberta native people.
