Today we're going to the Rocky Mountain town of Georgetown and taking the Georgetown Loop Railroad scenic train to see breathtaking landscape. The Georgetown Loop Railroad is a 3 ft (914 mm) narrow gauge United States heritage railroad located in the Rocky Mountains in Clear Creek Count. This tourist train runs between the communities of Georgetown and Silver Plume through mountainous terrain along with trestles, cuts, fills, and a grand loop.

In today's puzzle we're visiting Sandstone Falls, a series of broad but not high waterfalls on the New River in Sandstone Falls State Park in West Virginia. Sandstone Falls spans the river where it is 1500 feet wide. It was created by the powerful flow of the river eroding the soft conglomerate rock layer that lies below the hard sandstone layer from which the falls gets its name.

In today's puzzle we're visiting a beautiful alpine lake above the Crystal River Valley town of Marble, Colorado. If you didn't know, alpine lakes are classified as lakes at high altitudes. Their waters are usually very clear and clean - perfect for the surrounding landscape to be reflected in.

Today's puzzle is based on Albert Bierstadt's 1882 painting called "Gates of the Yosemite". Bierstadt was a German-American painter best known for his breathtaking landscapes of the American West. The painting featured in this puzzle depicts the Gates of the Valley near the western end of Yosemite Valley (a glacial valley in Yosemite National Park in the western Sierra Nevada mountains of Central California).

The coyote (also called prairie wolf and the brush wolf) is a species of canine native to North America. Primarily carnivorous, its diet consists mainly of deer, rabbits, hares, rodents, birds, reptiles, amphibians, fish, and invertebrates, though it may also eat fruits and vegetables on occasion. Their fur color is predominantly light gray and red or fulvous interspersed with black and white, though it varies somewhat with geography. Coyotes live either in a family unit or in loosely knit packs of unrelated individuals.
