Matterhorn Reflected In Stellisee Lake Puzzle Details:

About: Today we're going to Switzerland to visit the Stellisee mountain lake near Zermatt in the Valais Alps. Located in a breath taking alpine landscape, this beautiful mountain lake is near the Matterhorn - a mountain of the Alps, on the border between Switzerland and Italy. You can see the large, near-symmetric pyramidal peak reflected in the lake's clear water. The Matterhorn has two distinct summits, situated at either end of a 100-metre-long (330 ft) exposed rocky crest which forms the Italian/Swiss border. The tallest peak is 4,478 meters (14,692 ft) high, making it one of the highest summits in the Alps and Europe. The German name Matterhorn is named for Mattertal and Zermatt (historically Matt "alpine meadow", the prefix zer- is a preposition).
