If you didn't already know, a canoe is a lightweight narrow vessel, typically pointed at both ends and open on top, propelled by one or more paddlers using a single-bladed paddle. Canoes were developed by cultures all over the world, including some designed for use with sails or outriggers. The word canoe comes from the Carib kenu (dugout), via the Spanish canoa. Have fun!

Landshut is the capital of Lower Bavaria, Germany. It is situated on the banks of the River Isar and is the largest city in Lower Bavaria. The city was founded in 1204 by Duke Louis I. The town is of national importance because of its predominantly Gothic architecture within the historic town centre, especially Trausnitz Castle and the Church of Saint Martin featuring the world's tallest brick tower (you can see it in the center of today's new jigsaw puzzle). Construction of the church began around 1389, under the architect Hans von Burghausen. The building was completed in 1500. With a height of 130.6 m (428 feet), the church tower is considered to be the tallest brick building in the world.
