About: It's a rainy day in Midtown Manhattan,New York and we're in one the major commercial intersection, tourist destination and entertainment center - Times Square. At the junction of Broadway and Seventh Avenue, this square stretches from West 42nd to West 47th Streets. It's one of the busiest area in New York with approximately 330,000 people passing through the Square daily. Formerly known as Longacre Square, Times Square was renamed in 1904 after The New York Times moved its headquarters to the newly erected Times Building – now One Times Square. This building is the site of the annual New Year's Eve ball drop.
