If you didn't know, goulash is a stew of meat and vegetables seasoned with paprika (a ground spice made from dried red peppers) and other spices. Goulash is one of the national dishes of Hungary and a symbol of the country. It is a common meal predominantly eaten in Central Europe but also in other parts of Europe. It can be prepared from beef, veal, pork, or lamb. Garlic and soup vegetables like carrot, parsley root, peppers and celery may be added.
