It is now widely cultivated throughout the Middle East and Caucasus region, Africa, the Indian subcontinent, Central Asia, some parts of Southeast Asia and other parts of the world. Pomegranate seeds are a rich source of dietary fiber and the fruits contain vitamin C and vitamin K.
