The painting shows a number of people walking through the Place de Dublin, then known as the Carrefour de Moscou, at an intersection to the east of the Gare Saint-Lazare in north Paris. The painting was first shown at the Third Impressionist Exhibition of 1877.

The beautiful pergola surrounded by orange trees featured in today's puzzle was painted by Thomas Fearnley in oil on paper mounted on canvas in c. 1834. If you didn't know, a pergola is an outdoor garden feature forming a shaded walkway or sitting area of vertical posts or pillars. As a type of gazebo, it may also be an extension of a building or serve as protection for an open terrace or a link between pavilions.
