Two Sisters

This new puzzle is based on an 1881 oil-on-canvas painting by French artist Pierre-Auguste Renoir called the "Two Sisters" or "On the Terrace". The painting depicts a young woman and her younger sister seated outdoors with a small basket containing balls of wool. Renoir worked on the painting on the terrace of the Maison Fournaise, a restaurant located on an island in the Seine in Chatou, the western suburb of Paris.

Wivenhoe Park

Today's puzzle is based on John Constable's oil on canvas painting called Wivenhoe Park, Essex. In the painting Constable depicts a beautiful English landscape park (style of "landscape" garden which emerged in England in the early 18th century), the estate of the Rebow family. Constable was commissioned by Major-General Francis Slater-Rebow to paint his country home, Wivenhoe Park, Essex in 1816. Born in Suffolk, John Constable s known principally for revolutionizing the genre of landscape painting.

First Steps, after Millet

This puzzle is based on Vincent van Gogh's painting called "First Steps, after Millet". While a patient at the asylum in Saint-Remy, Van Gogh painted twenty-one copies after Millet, an artist he greatly admired. The painting depicts a fenced-in garden behind a house and two parents encouraging their child to walk for the first time.

Spring Flowers

This new beautiful puzzle is based on a painting by Claude Monet with the same name. He painted this beautiful masterpiece in 1864. The painting features some beautiful Spring flowers (peonies, hydrangeas, lilacs and some geraniums). Monet loved flowers and is quoted as saying, "I perhaps owe having become a painter to flowers."

Still Life with Apples and Peaches

Another art based puzzle is here. In this new one we feature an oil on canvas painting by Paul Cezanne called Still Life with Apples and Peaches. The objects pictured in this painting (the table, patterned cloth, and flowered pitcher) were all props that Cezanne pictured in several still life paintings.

Old Hook Mill

This fun new puzzle is based on Edward Lamson Henry's oil on canvas painting called "Old Hook Mill, Easthampton". If you didn't know, the Hook Windmill was the last wind-powered grain mill built in East Hampton, New York. It was constructed in 1806, it operated until 1908 and it still stands today. In the painting E.L. Henry depicts the mill in the calm after a storm. At the mill's entrance several men can be seen loading sacks of flour into a horse-drawn wagon.

Still Life with a Ginger Jar and Eggplants

This beautiful and challenging jigsaw puzzle is based on a painting by Paul Cezanne, a French artist and Post-Impressionist painter. For this still life painting Cezanne used a variety of familiar objects that are featured in some of his other still life paintings. For example the ginger jar, is featured in more than a dozen paintings from the same period.

The Empress Eugenie

If you didn't already know, Dona María Eugenia Ignacia Agustina de Palafox y Kirkpatrick, 19th Countess of Teba, 16th Marchioness of Ardales (5 May 1826 – 11 July 1920), known as Eugenie de Montijo, was Empress of the French from her marriage to Emperor Napoleon III. This painting of her was made in oil on canvas by Franz Xaver Winterhalter in 1854.

Distant View of Niagara Falls

Today's new puzzle is base on Thomas Cole's 1830 painting with the same name. The romanticized, autumnal scene depicted in this beautiful panting has two Native American figures at it's center and the impressive Niagara Falls in the background. If you didn't know, Thomas Cole (February 1, 1801 - February 11, 1848) was an Anglo-American painter known for his landscape and history paintings.

Rue du Puits Sale, St. Valery

Today we're going back in time and visiting Saint-Valery-sur-Somme, France in 1862. This puzzle is based on a watercolor on paper painting by Miner Kilbourne Kellogg, an American painter, art historian and art collector. It depicts a view of Puits Sale street in Saint-Valery-sur-Somme, France. Pick your difficulty level, press start and give it a try!

The House with the Cracked Walls

This new puzzle is based on a painting by Paul Cezanne. It depicts an old abandoned house with cracked walls. The French artist and Post-Impressionist painter often painted abandoned houses and other sites near his studio outside Aix. Take a few minutes, put the pieces back together and see the house with cracked walls in Cezanne painting. Have fun!

The Siesta

Today's puzzle is based on The Siesta, an 1892-1894 oil on canvas painting by Paul Gauguin. The picture depicts a group of Tahitian women in westernized clothes chatting in the cool shade of a verandah during the hot afternoon sun. It was painted during Gauguin's first extended trip to the island of Tahiti.
