Today's puzzle is based on an oil on canvas painting by Hendrik Voogd (a Dutch painter and printmaker, who was active in Italy). In this beautiful painting, Voogd depicted the gardens of the Villa Borghese in Rome in the late afternoon. You can see the setting sun behind the impressive umbrella pines in the background, and some people enjoying their afternoon in the foreground of the painting.

Meadow with Animals

Today's beautiful puzzle is based on an oil on canvas painting by Jan van Ravenswaay - a 19th-century landscape painter from the Northern Netherlands. The painting depicts animals grazing and resting on a grassy meadow. You can see a couple of horses in one corner, a young shepherd boy resting with his goats and cows in the foreground and event some cute ducks swimming in a small pond in the bottom right corner.

Two Sisters

This new puzzle is based on an 1881 oil-on-canvas painting by French artist Pierre-Auguste Renoir called the "Two Sisters" or "On the Terrace". The painting depicts a young woman and her younger sister seated outdoors with a small basket containing balls of wool. Renoir worked on the painting on the terrace of the Maison Fournaise, a restaurant located on an island in the Seine in Chatou, the western suburb of Paris.

The Large Tree

This new puzzle is based on Paul Gauguin (a French Post-Impressionist artist) 1891 oil on canvas painting with the same name. This is among the first paintings he completed in 1891 after abandoning his family and career as a stockbroker and moving to the island of Tahiti. The painting depicts four women seeking shelter under the leaves of a large tree on a hot summer day. In the distance, another woman stands in the doorway of a traditional house and looks on in the direction of the large tree and the other women.

Old Bruton Church

Today we're going back to the 1890s and visiting the Bruton Church in the restored area of Colonial Williamsburg in Williamsburg, Virginia. This puzzle is based on a oil on canvas painting by Alfred Wordsworth Thompson and it depicts the Bruton Parish Church. The church was constructed between 1711 and 1715. The building was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1970 as a well-preserved early example of colonial religious architecture.
