About: Are you ready for the race? In this new puzzle we feature a painting by the Impressionist French painter Edgar Degas called "Before the Race". The painting depicts four jockeys on horseback just before a race. The horse and rider theme was one of Degas's favorites. He returned to this theme time and time again throughout his career. Over the course of his career it is reported that he created 45 oils, 20 pastels, 250 drawings, and 17 sculptures related to horses.
