Luncheon of the Boating Party

The painting depicts a group of Renoir's friends relaxing on a balcony at the Maison Fournaise restaurant along the Seine river in Chatou, France. The painting was included in the Seventh Impressionist Exhibition in 1882 and it was identified as the best painting in the show by critics.

It was completed in 1857. The puzzle is based on an oil on canvas painting by William H. Schenck ( the company’s superintendent between 1856 and 1864).
