About: The Power House was built to hold a generator to supply Heart Island in the Saint Lawrence River with power, and now is more of a museum of how electric power was obtained in the early 1900. It's located near Boldt Castle - a major landmark and tourist attraction in the Thousand Islands region of the U.S. state of New York. Originally a private mansion built by American millionaire George Boldt, it is today maintained as a tourist attraction.

The foundation stone of Nesvizh Palace was laid in 1584 and it was rebuilt many times. Hohensalzburg castle is one of the largest medieval castles in Europe. It is located in the Austrian city of Salzburg, atop the Festungsberg mountain. Construction of the fortress began in 1077 under Archbishop Gebhard von Helfenstein. The ring walls and towers were built in 1462 under Prince-Archbishop Burkhard II von Weißpriach. Prince-Archbishop Leonhard von Keutschach during his term from 1495 until 1519 further expanded the castle. In the 19th century, it was used as barracks, storage depot and dungeon before being abandoned as a military outpost in 1861. Hohensalzburg castle was refurbished from the late 19th century onwards and became a major tourist attraction with the Festungsbahn cable car, opened in 1892, leading up from the town to the Hasengrabenbastei. It stands today as one of the best preserved castles in Europe.

The older Church of the Virgin, which abuts a tall square tower. It dates from the first half of the 17th century, and was built of brick. The larger Church of the Mother of God, is a central dome style structure with richly decorated facades, including a carved north entrance and a carved grapevine cross on the south facade.

Schloss Ort is an Austrian castle situated in the Traunsee lake, in Gmunden. It was built around 1080 by Hartnidus of Ort, and improvements continued to be made into the thirteenth century. From 1484 to 1491, the castle was governed by Gotthard von Starhenberg, the Governor of Upper Austria. In 1492, Bernhard of Starhenberg and later his descendants ruled the castle until 1584. In 1876, the castle was acquired by Archduke John Salvator of Austria (John of Tuscany). The castle was later acquired by Franz Joseph I of Austria (in 1914). On January 5, 1995, the castle was officially acquired by the city of Gmunden. At present the castle is being used for a study center of the Federal Ministry for Land and Forestry.
