About: Porsche-Diesel is a former tractor brand from Germany that produced tractors from 1956 to 1963. In the early 1930s , Prof. Ferdinand Porsche designed a "Volksschlepper" (folk tractor), along with the design of the Volkswagen. In the early fifties, Porsche had four basic designs: one, two, three and four-cylinder versions. In 1956 , Mannesmann AG decided to build tractors and bought the license of the Porsche Diesel engines. The Porsche-Diesel tractors were manufactured in this factory until the end of 1963 at a Mannesmann AG division called Porsche-Diesel Motorenbau GmbH. At the end of 1963, agreements were made with Renault Which would take the service of the Porsche-Diesel worldwide.Between 1956 and 1963, more than 125,000 Porsche-Diesel tractors were produced, of which many are used daily for farm work.
