Red Panda Playing In A Tree

In today's puzzle we feature a cute red panda playing in a tree. If you didn't know, the red panda is native to the eastern Himalayas and southwestern China and it's endangered. It is also called the lesser panda, the red bear-cat, and the red cat-bear. It is arboreal and feeds mainly on bamboo.

Wild Yack

If you didn't know, the wild yak is a large bovine native to the Himalayas. It's habitat consists of treeless alpine areas between 3,000 and 5,500 m (9,800 and 18,000 ft), dominated by mountains and plateaus. Wild yaks once ranged up to southern Siberia to the east of Lake Baikal. Today, wild yaks are found primarily in northern Tibet and western Qinghai, with some populations extending into the southernmost parts of Xinjiang, and into India.

Cute Wood Duck

In this fun new puzzle we feature a cute wood duck. The wood duck or Carolina duck is one of the most colorful North American waterfowl. These cute and colorful ducks live in wooded swamps, lakes, ponds and creeks in the eastern United States, the west coast of the United States, some parts of southern Canada, and the west coast of Mexico. They mainly eat acorns, seeds, berries and insects they find on the ground or on the water surface.

Grazing Horses

In today's puzzle we feature a herd of horses grazing on a grassy meadow. Horses are herbivores with a digestive system adapted to a forage diet of grasses and other plant material, consumed steadily throughout the day. They are herd animals, with a clear hierarchy of rank, led by a dominant individual, usually a mare. Horses communicate in various ways, including vocalizations such as nickering or whinnying, mutual grooming, and body language.

Donkey In A Field

Time for another fun puzzle. In this new one we feature a cute donkey grazing in a field on sunny summer day. If you didn't know, donkeys spend more than half of each day foraging and feeding. They can meet their nutritional needs on 6 to 7 hours of grazing per day on average dryland pasture.

Black-backed Woodpecker

In today's puzzle we feature a male and a female black-backed woodpecker, also known as the Arctic three-toed woodpecker. The black-backed woodpecker inhabits the forests of North America and is a medium-sized woodpecker. The plumage of these cute woodpeckers is black on the head, back, wings and rump. They are white from the throat to the belly. You can tell the male apart from the female by it's yellow cap.

Chaffinch

In today's puzzle we feature a chaffinch resting on dry tree branch. The common chaffinch or simply the chaffinch is about 14.5 cm long, with a wingspan of 24.5-28.5 cm and a weight of 18-29 g. The male is brightly colored with a blue-grey cap and rust-red underparts. The female is much duller in color, but both sexes have two contrasting white wing bars and white sides to the tail.

Louisiana Heron

Now known as the tricolored heron, the Louisiana heron, is a small species of heron native to coastal parts of the Americas. This species of heron breeds in swamps and other coastal habitats. Adults have a blue-grey head, neck, back, and upper wings, with a white line along the neck. Their belly is white. This puzzle is based on hand-colored engraving and aquatint on Whatman wove paper by Robert Havell after John James Audubon in the series The Birds of America.

Bridled Weasels

In this new puzzle we feature to cute bridled weasels playing on a log. The bridled weasel (long-tailed weasel or big stoat) is distinct from the short-tailed weasel, also known as a "stoat". The long-tailed weasel is one of the larger members of the genus Mustela in North America. It lives in ground burrows, under stumps or beneath rock piles. It usually does not dig its own burrows, but commonly uses abandoned chipmunk holes. The long-tailed weasel is a fearless and aggressive hunter which may attack animals far larger than itself. Its primary prey consists of mice, rats, squirrels, chipmunks, shrews, moles and rabbits. Occasionally, it may eat small birds, bird eggs, reptiles, amphibians, fish, earthworms and some insects.

Sparrow Sitting On A Tree Branch

In this new puzzle we feature a cute house sparrow sitting on a tree branch. The house sparrow is strongly associated with human habitation, and can live in urban or rural settings. The house sparrow originated in the Middle East and spread, along with agriculture, to most of Eurasia and parts of North Africa. It feeds mostly on the seeds of grains and weeds, but it is an opportunistic eater and commonly eats insects and many other foods.

Barbary Sheep

In today's puzzle we feature tow barbary sheep. The Barbary sheep is native to rocky mountains in North Africa. It is also known in the Berber language as waddan or arwi, and in former French territories as the moufflon. Barbary sheep are found in arid mountainous areas where they graze and browse grasses and bushes.

Cheetah

Today we feature the fastest land animal, the cheetah. Capable of running at 80 to 128 km/h (50 to 80 mph). It has several adaptations for speed, including a light build, long thin legs and a long tail. The cheetah occurs in a variety of habitats such as savannahs in the Serengeti, arid mountain ranges in the Sahara and hilly desert terrain in Iran.
