Pinnated Grouse Puzzle Details:

About: The Pinnated Grouse or Greater Prairie Chicken is a large bird in the grouse family. It was once abundant in North America, but has become extremely rare or extinct. These birds were once widespread all across the oak savanna and tall grass prairie ecosystem. They prefer undisturbed prairie but can tolerate agricultural land mixed with prairie. They eat seeds and fruit, but during the summer they also eat insects and green plants. The puzzle is based on an illustration by John James Audubon from his color-plate book entitled The Birds of America.

Squirrel Climbing A Tree

Another animal themed jigsaw puzzle is here. In this new game we feature an close-up of a cute squirrel climbing a tree. Squirrels' diets consist primarily of a wide variety of plants, including nuts, seeds, conifer cones, fruits, fungi, and green vegetation. Squirrels have also been known to eat insects, eggs, small birds, young snakes, and smaller rodents. Some tropical species have shifted almost entirely to a diet of insects. The squirrel family includes tree squirrels, ground squirrels, chipmunks, marmots (including woodchucks), flying squirrels, and prairie dogs among other rodents. Squirrels are indigenous to the Americas, Eurasia, and Africa, and were introduced by humans to Australia.
Zebras

Zebras

In today's new puzzle we feature the zebra. Zebras are several species of African equids (horse family) commonly known by their distinctive black and white striped coats. There are three species of zebras: the plains zebra, the Grevy's zebra and the mountain zebra. So are the zebras black with white stripes or white with black stripes? Here's the answer: it was previously believed that zebras were white animals with black stripes, since some zebras have white underbellies; but embryological evidence, however, shows that the animal's background color is black and the white stripes and bellies are additions. Now you know, zebras are black with white stripes. Enjoy the puzzle.

Lemurs are generally the most social of the strepsirrhine primates and communicate more with scents and vocalizations than with visual signals.
