Hummingbirds are among the smallest of birds, most species measuring in the 7.5–13 cm range. They are known as hummingbirds because of the humming sound created by their beating wings. Robin Sitting On A Branch

In today's new puzzle we feature a cute robin sitting on a tree branch. Known as the robin or robin redbreast, the European robin is found across Europe, east to Western Siberia and south to North Africa. The distinctive orange breast of both sexes contributed to the European robin's original name of "redbreast", orange as a color name being unknown in English until the 16th century, by which time the fruit had been introduced. The robin is diurnal, although it has been reported to be active hunting insects on moonlit nights or near artificial light at night.

Brightly Colored Flamingos

Brightly Colored Flamingos

Flamingos are very social birds; they live in colonies whose population can number in the thousands. Young flamingos hatch with grayish-red plumage, but adults range from light pink to bright red due to aqueous bacteria and beta-carotene obtained from their food supply. Flamingos filter-feed on brine shrimp and blue-green algae as well as larva, small insects, mollusks and crustaceans making them omnivores. Flamingos usually stand on one leg while the other is tucked beneath their bodies -this behaviour is not fully understood.
Bengal Tiger

Bengal Tiger

Today's new puzzle is based on a illustration of a Bengal tiger(Panthera tigris tigris). The Bengal tiger's coat is yellow to light orange, with stripes ranging from dark brown to black; the belly and the interior parts of the limbs are white, and the tail is orange with black rings. Tigers inhabit tropical moist evergreen forests, tropical dry forests, tropical and subtropical moist deciduous forests, mangroves, subtropical and temperate upland forests, and alluvial grasslands. Tigers are carnivores. They prefer hunting large ungulates such as chital, sambar, gaur, and to a lesser extent also barasingha, water buffalo, nilgai, serow and takin. Among the medium-sized prey species they frequently kill wild boar, and occasionally hog deer, muntjac and Gray langur. Small prey species such as porcupines, hares and peafowl form a very small part in their diet.
