Curious Mule

In today's puzzle we feature a curious mule looking out it's paddock on a sunny day. If you didn't know, a mule is the offspring of a male donkey (jack) and a female horse (mare). Mules have short, thick heads, long ears, thin limbs, small, narrow hooves, and short manes. They occur in a variety of configurations, sizes, and colors. Common colors are sorrel, bay, black, and grey.

Two Mandarin Ducks In A Tree

In today's puzzle we feature two cute mandarin ducks sitting in a tree. Compared to other ducks, mandarins are shy birds, preferring to seek cover under on in trees. The bill, surprisingly dexterous, allows this toucan to get at, open and eat a variety of fruit that might not otherwise be reached.

The blue-gray tanager is a South American songbird (south Mexico, northeast Bolivia, northern Brazil and all the Amazon Basin). It's habitat consists of open woodland, cultivated areas and gardens. The blue-gray tanager eats mainly fruits, nectar and insects. There are 14 recognized subspecies, differing according to the exact hue of blue of the shoulder patch versus the rest of the plumage.

In today's new puzzle we feature a cute Eurasian blue tit resting on the side of a bird feeder on a cold winter day. Blue tits usually nest in tree holes, in deciduous or mixed woodlands with a high proportion of oak but can also easily adapt to nest boxes where necessary. The blue tit is a partial migrant in the northern part (subarctic Europe and the western Palearctic) of its range but is considered to be non-migratory. During cold winters these cute small birds and others need help in finding food and getting over the cold days. That's why people put up feeders and nest boxes like the one in today's puzzle.

They have an even temper, a gentle disposition and are excellent with children.

In today's puzzle we feature a cute black cat sitting on a wooden fence. If you didn't know, any cat whose fur is a single color, including black, is known as a "solid". A "solid black" cat may be grayish black, brownish black, or coal black. Most black cats have golden irises due to their high melanin pigment content. All-black fur pigmentation is slightly more prevalent in male cats.

In this new puzzle feature two cute alpacas. The alpaca comes in two breeds, Suri and Huacaya. Huacaya alpacas are the most commonly found, constituting about 90% of the population. Alpacas are social herd animals that live in family groups, consisting of a territorial alpha male, females, and their young ones. They typically live in temperate conditions, in mountainous terrain and at high altitudes.
