Grazing Ponies

Grazing Ponies

In today's new jigsaw puzzle we feature two very cute ponies grazing on a green meadow. The word "pony" derives from the old French "poulenet", meaning foal, a young, immature horse, but this is not the modern meaning; unlike a horse foal, a pony remains small when fully grown. Ponies are generally considered intelligent and friendly, though sometimes they also are described as stubborn or cunning.

Referred to as Songshi-Quan (in Chinese), which means "puffy-lion dog", the Chow-Chow is a sturdily built dog, square in profile, with a broad skull and small, triangular, erect ears with rounded tips. It has a very dense double coat that is particularly thick in the neck area, giving it a distinctive ruff or mane appearance. Chow-Chow are not excessively active, meaning that they can be housed in an apartment and very popular as pets.
Leopard By A Rock

Leopard By A Rock

If you didn't know, the leopard is a big cat distinguished by its robust build and muscular but relatively shorter limbs, a broad head and a coat covered by spots arranged in rosettes. Basically pale yellow to yellowish brown or golden, the coat is spotted and rosetted; spots fade toward the white underbelly and the insides and lower parts of the legs. The leopard is solitary and territorial, as are several other felids. The leopard is a carnivore that prefers medium-sized prey. They can feed on a broad variety of prey, mainly antelopes, deer and rodents; these include: cattle, chital, duiker, waterbuck, young zebras, hartebeest, muntjac, nyala, porcupine, primates, reedbuck, hyrax, impala, gazelle, springbok, sambar, squirrel, warthog and wildebeest. Lionesses Resting

Lionesses Resting

In this puzzle we feature a group of lionesses resting in the shade after a day of hunting. If you didn't know, the lion(Panthera leo) is the most socially inclined of all wild felids, most of which remain quite solitary in nature, and have two types of social organisation. Some lions are residents, living in groups of related lionesses, their mates, and offspring. Such a group is called a pride. In prides, lionesses do most of the hunting. An adult lioness requires an average of about 5 kg of meat per day, a male about 7 kg.
Snow Leopard

Snow Leopard

Another great animal puzzle is here. Today's puzzle features a snow leopard. The snow leopard (Panthera uncia or Uncia uncia) is a moderately large cat native to the mountain ranges of Central Asia. Snow leopards are slightly smaller than the other big cats but, like them, exhibit a range of sizes, generally weighing between 27 and 55 kg, with an occasional large male reaching 75 kg and small female of under 25 kg. They have a relatively short body, measuring in length from the head to the base of the tail 75 to 130 centimeters. Snow leopards have long thick fur, and their base colour varies from smoky gray to yellowish tan, with whitish underparts. They have dark grey to black open rosettes on their body with small spots of the same color on their heads and larger spots on their legs and tail. Unusually among cats, their eyes are pale green or grey in color.
Mother and Baby Elephant

Mother and Baby Elephant

Newborn elephants are precocial and quickly stand and walk to follow their mother and family herd. For its first three months, a calf relies entirely on milk from its mother for nutrition after which it begins to forage for vegetation and can use its trunk to collect water. After a year, a baby elephant's abilities to groom, drink, and feed itself are fully developed but it still needs its mother for protection from predators for at least another year. Click start and solve today's new fun animal puzzle featuring a mother and baby elephant in the grassy savanna.

Playful Goat On A Rock Pile

Playful Goat On A Rock Pile

Goats are naturally curious and playful. They are also agile and well known for their ability to climb and balance in precarious places; in the wild this ability helps them reach sources of food that other animals can't and avoid predators at the same time. Due to their agility and inquisitiveness, they are notorious for escaping their pens by testing fences and enclosures. They are among the earliest animals domesticated by humans. Despite having the reputation of being slightly rebellious, more and more people today are choosing more exotic pets like goats. Goats are herd animals and typically prefer the company of other goats, but because of their herd mentality, they will follow their owners around just the same. So what do you think? Would you like a pet goat? Finish this fun puzzle and let us know. Have fun!
