About: The Eld's deer, also known as the thamin or brow-antlered deer, is a species of deer endemic to South Asia. The deer are generally of medium size, they have a rough and coarse coat that change color with the season; in summer the color is reddish-brown, while in winter, it turns dark brown. Their diets comprise a variety of herbaceous plants, grasses, and shoots, fruit and wetland plants. The species is categorized as endangered.
