Cute Ring-tailed Lemurs

Chinese Monal

These beautiful pheasant, also known as the Chinese monal or Chinese impeyan, lives only in the mountains of central China. The male is more colorful then the female, that is dark brown with some white accents. The male monal has a large purple crest, a red-goldened mantle, a green head, bluish green feathers and black underparts. It's plumage is highly iridescent.

A St Bernard Dog

In today's puzzle we feature a painting of a cute and impressive St Bernard dog. The Saint Bernard or St. Bernard is a breed of very large dog that was originally bred for rescue work by the hospice of the Great St Bernard Pass on the Italian-Swiss borded. It's color is typically a red shade with white, or a mahogany brindle with white. The coat can be either smooth or rough; the smooth coat being close and flat, while the rough is dense, flat, and more profuse around the neck and legs. Saint Bernard dogs are calm and patient with adults, and especially children.

Chimpanzee

The chimpanzee, also known as simply the chimp, is native to the forest and savannah of tropical Africa. It lives in groups that range in size from 15 to 150 members, although individuals travel and forage in much smaller groups during the day. The chimpanzee prefers fruit above all other food items but also eats leaves, leaf buds, seeds, blossoms, resin, bark, and stems.

Carolina Parrots

The cute parrots featured in today's puzzle were native to the eastern, Midwest and plains states of the United States. They are now extinct. These small green neotropical parrots with bright yellow heads, reddish orange faces and pale beak were one of only three parrot species native to the United States. They used to live in forests along rivers and in swamps.

Curious Mule

In today's puzzle we feature a curious mule looking out it's paddock on a sunny day. If you didn't know, a mule is the offspring of a male donkey (jack) and a female horse (mare). Mules have short, thick heads, long ears, thin limbs, small, narrow hooves, and short manes. They occur in a variety of configurations, sizes, and colors. Common colors are sorrel, bay, black, and grey.

Lady Amherst's Pheasant

The Lady Amherst's pheasant is native to southwestern China and far northern Myanmar, but has been introduced elsewhere. These colorful are very difficult to see in their natural habitat, which is dense, dark forests with thick undergrowth. They feed on the ground on grain, leaves and invertebrates, but sleep in trees at night.

Grazing Horses

In today's puzzle we feature a herd of horses grazing on a grassy meadow. Horses are herbivores with a digestive system adapted to a forage diet of grasses and other plant material, consumed steadily throughout the day. They are herd animals, with a clear hierarchy of rank, led by a dominant individual, usually a mare. Horses communicate in various ways, including vocalizations such as nickering or whinnying, mutual grooming, and body language.

Cute Goats And Sheep

In today's puzzle we feature tow cute goats and a sheep. Sheep and goats were among the first animals to be domesticated by humankind. Although sheep are frequently thought of as unintelligent animals, studies have shown that they are as intelligent as cattle. They can recognize individual human and animal faces and remember them for years.

Wolves Resting

In today's wildlife themed puzzle we feature two wolves resting. Wolves live in forests, inland wetlands, shrublands, grasslands (including arctic tundra), pastures, deserts, and even on the rocky peaks of mountains. The wolf is the largest member of the Canidae family. Wolves are social animals. Its populations consist of packs and lone wolves, with most lone wolves being temporarily alone while they disperse from packs to form their own or join another one. They are pack hunters.

Zebras At The Waterhole

If you didn't know, zebras inhabit eastern and southern Africa and can be found in a variety of habitats such as savannahs, grasslands, woodlands, shrublands and mountainous areas. There are three extant species: the Grévy's zebra (Equus grevyi), plains zebra (E. quagga) and the mountain zebra (E. zebra). Zebras are easily recognized by their bold black-and-white striping patterns. Striping patterns are unique to an individual.
