Pelican And Seagulls

Pelicans frequent inland and coastal waters, where they feed principally on fish, catching them at or near the water surface. They use their long beak and a large throat pouch to catch prey and drain the water from the scooped-up contents before swallowing. There are eight living pelican species today. It's habitat includes the Pyrenees, the Alps, the Cantabrian mountains, the Tatra and the Carpathian Mountains, the Balkan Mountains, the Rila - Rhodope massif, Pindus, the northeastern mountains of Turkey, and the Caucasus.
