A quesadilla is a flour or corn tortilla filled with a savoury mixture containing cheese and other ingredients, then folded in half. This dish originated in Mexico, and the name is derived from the Spanish word queso (cheese). The specific origin for the quesadilla was in colonial Mexico. Another fun Christmas themed jigsaw puzzle is here. Today we're featuring some very beautiful Nutcracker decorations. A nutcracker is a mechanical device for cracking nuts. Nutcrackers in the form of wooden carvings of a soldier, knight, king, or other people have existed since at least the 15th century. These nutcrackers portray a person with a large mouth which the operator opens by lifting a lever in the back of the figurine. Originally one could insert a nut in the big-toothed mouth, press down and thereby crack the nut. Modern nutcrackers in this style serve mostly for decoration, mainly at Christmas time.

In 1894, Hildebrand & Wolfmuller became the first series production motorcycle, and the first to be called a motorcycle. At the turn of the century the first major mass-production firms were set up. In 1898, Triumph Motorcycles in England began producing motorbikes, and by 1903 it was producing over 500 bikes. Other British firms were Royal Enfield, Norton and Birmingham Small Arms Company who began motorbike production in 1899, 1902 and 1910, respectively.Indian began production in 1901 and Harley-Davidson was established two years later. By the outbreak of the First World War, the largest motorcycle manufacturer in the world was Indian, producing over 20,000 bikes per year. In the 21st century, the motorcycle industry is mainly dominated by the Chinese motorcycle industry and by Japanese motorcycle companies.
